Johnny Hughes

Hughes Sensei has been fortunate in his training and has the following credentials:

• 5th degree black belt, as recognized by the UMAABSEd -

• Bachelor of Science in Education/Certified teacher for the state of South Carolina

• South Carolina state director for the UMAA

• Certified instructor for Karate For Christ International

• Competed and judged at local and regional tournaments

• Written several pieces for Black Belt Magazine and local newspapers

 

In 1996, I received my shodan black belt, my nidan (2nd degree black belt) in 2001, my sandan (3rd degree) in 2007, and my yondan (4th degree black belt) in July of 2010
